Historical Citizens Association
Here's where you can find out where HCA will be next.
Please come and join us if you are in the area. You will see the past come to life and even be
able to
participate in some of the fun activities.

Have children? This is a great time to show your children history in action. Most children retain information better by actually experiencing something instead of just reading about it. You, too, will learn things that you probably never knew about our past.
So, find an event near you, pack up the car, and head on over to Oak Street.
We look forward to meeting you!
PLEASE NOTE: The following Calendar is for reference purposes only. The HCA/Oak Street typically picks a minimum of 4 Official events and holds 1 Annual Meeting and 1 Calendar Planning Meeting per calendar year.
Official events and Meetings are denoted by a star (and count toward membership requirements). All other events are recommended events. Members are encouraged to attend recommended events as their schedules permit.
For educational purposes, we organize/host Workshops. Please look for details below for when they are available.
For a more complete listing of Civil War events in California, please visit Fort Tejon’s Event page, American Civil War Society (ACWS)’s Schedule of Events page, or National Civil War Association’s Event page.
